Dana became an arts administrator before she had ever heard the term, when she stepped into the role of Limelight & Accents Performing Arts Series Coordinator at SUNY Geneseo, her alma mater. After earning a BA in Anthropology and a Dance minor, Dana spent 1.5 years in Hawaii, managing an independent coffee shop and immersing herself in the burgeoning dance, community theater, and improv scene on the Big Island. She subsequently completed a year-long contract as the Development Intern at Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, FL, and finally left the tropics for Chicago in June 2016 to take a job as the Development & Sales Associate at Windy City Playhouse. When she’s not working with NWaC, Dana is now the Development Manager at Raven Theatre, and writes grants for Joel Hall Dancers & Center, where she is also a student. You can catch her performing improv around the city with her indie team, Vestibule.
