The Gals:

Molly and Libby met five years ago studying for their Master’s of Fine Art’s in Acting at DePaul’s Theatre School, and have been collaborating together ever since.  The Real Deal is their web-series and live performance duo, where through their art they live out the warrior versions of themselves performing their true desires with fearless energy and endless sense of humor.  Both come from a long history as educators and as their partnership with Nothing Without a Company has formed they are taking their artistic vision and turning it into a philosophy for life which they want to spread with the Real Deal Warrior Workshops.  As educators the two have covered the broad spectrum of arts education and are excited to bring their powers together.  Molly is the creator of Improv ASD for Autistic youth, teens and adults at The Second City Training Center where she is currently a resident teacher.  Prior to this she taught Special Education at New Trier High School for two years where she also was the director of “No Questions Asked Improv” workshop.  Libby has most recently taught and directed grades k-8 in performance with the Beverly Arts Center’s Outreach Program in Chicago. She has also directed over 20 full length musicals with grades k-8 while serving as a Teacher/Director for Stage Right’s Musical Theatre Program in New Jersey and the Head of the Theatre Department at Camp Walden in Maine.  Together the Gals love teaching their craft and learning from the energy and uninhibited genius students can teach us about ourselves as performers and humans!
