Scott (He/Him), a professional actor/improviser by trade and an applied improv practitioner in life, moved to Chicago from his home state of Hawai`i, 10 years ago, to further immerse himself in the artform. After graduating from both iO and Second City’s Conservatory programs, he performed and taught in cities throughout the US with Chicago Improv Productions. Additionally, he is a proud of Alumnus of Stir Friday Night, Chicago’s longest running AAPI improv troupe. Scott brings a blend of his Japanese American heritage and Hawai`i’s multiculturalism to everything he does. This is evident in his portrayal of Uncle Makana in NWAC’s productions of Not One Batu (2018) and Pakalolo Sweet (2019) and directing NWAC’s stage reading of The Kasha of Kaimuki (2023). He is truly honored to become one of Nothing Without A Company’s board members.
