SUMMARY
It can be difficult to simply breathe. Some Air is a musical journey set where Chicago meets the lake. A couple who are lucky enough to live so close to the water have allowed the world around them to become a mere backdrop. They are suffocating living the same old routine, day in and day out, and they feel trapped by the average, every-day experience that has come to define their lives. Little do they know that help is all around them and good things are just around the corner. Some Air is a musical, joyful look at finding transcendentalism and a return to nature in Chicago’s urban landscape.
This is not your typical walk through the park. Join our band of merry-makers on an active adventure from the urban to the natural - bring your walking shoes for this lakeside stroll! And as an added bonus, stay to see the same story as told through a different perspective in our gender-skewed performances.
